Flexible Booking Plan

We understand you may need to adjust your plans, so we're offering the option to add our Flexible Booking Plan to your journey, providing flexibility to change your travel arrangements or re-book for a more suitable time if needed.

Our Flexible Booking Plan allows you to defer your booking to an alternative date or cancel your journey up to final payment date up to 90 days prior to travel for river cruise and land journeys and up to 120 days for yacht cruises, less third-party fees. We will provide you with a Future Travel Credit to use on an alternative tour/cruise, which is valid for 24 months. This plan is available to all new customers to purchase for all destinations for departures in 2026 and 2027^.

This plan is available to purchase for AUD$200pp with Emerald yacht cruises and AUD$125pp for Emerald river cruises and land journeys across a wide range of destinations.

Terms and conditions:

• Where you defer travel or cancel your booking for departure in 2026 or 2027 up to 90 days prior to travel European and Asia River cruises, Japan, North America, Australia and New Zealand Land tours and 120 days prior for Ocean/Yacht cruises, Africa, Egypt and Jordan land tours, with no Scenic or Emerald Cruises fees less the FBP fee and any third-party supplier fees.

• Deposits paid to us (less the FBP fee and any third-party suppliers fees) will be applied as a future travel credit which is valid for 24 months for you to use on an alternate tour or cruise.

• If early payment is received the booking is cancelled prior to the final payment due date in the brochure T&Cs, guests are entitled to the deposit being held as a Future Travel Credit (FTC), less the FBP fee and third-party supplier fees, and the remaining balance of the additional payment will be refunded.

• If you do not re-book within 24 months, your Future Travel Credit (FTC) will be forfeited.

• Cancellation for Flexible Booking Plan can be for any reason as long as cancellation is requested in writing prior to the journeys required final payment date.

• Flexible Booking Plan Payment is non-refundable.
