2026 River Cruise Information Sessions

Vancouver, BC, September 29, 2026 – This fall, Canadians can explore some of the world's most famous rivers without leaving the country. Sister brands Scenic Luxury Cruises & Tours and Emerald Cruises & Tours are hosting 25 complimentary information sessions in select cities from October 14 to November 5, with events in British Columbia, Alberta, Manitoba, Ontario, Nova Scotia and New Brunswick. Travel specialists and river cruise experts will lead each session and walk guests through the brands' carefully planned 2027 and 2028 itineraries, from Europe's classic waterways to the Mekong River in Southeast Asia. Guests will come away with practical advice, fresh travel ideas and a clear sense of each brand’s unique offerings.

Where Advisors and Travellers Plan Together

The sessions are built for travel advisors and the clients they help to explore the world. At each complimentary information session event, guests will learn about the upcoming river cruise journeys from Scenic and Emerald Cruises. Advisors will leave with new ideas to share, and clients will get a better sense of the trips ahead. Attendees can also book at event-only prices, with limited-time savings and promotions they won't find anywhere else.

What Guests Can Expect

• Advice from Canadian-based Experts: River cruise specialists will share what they know to make trip planning easier, from the latest trends in river travel to useful tips and destination know-how. Each session ends with a live Q&A so guests can get their own questions answered.

• Two Styles of Luxury on the River: Learn how Scenic and Emerald Cruises each approach river travel in their own way. Hosts will cover both brands' signature and newly launched itineraries, the hands-on experiences built into each voyage, and the forward-thinking design of their ships.

• A Guide to the World’s Great Rivers: Get to know the top sights and ports of call along some of the world's best-loved waterways, including the Danube, Rhine, Douro, Rhône and Seine in Europe and the Mekong in Southeast Asia.
